The whole picture is actually much larger than what is shown, now residing in Arizona.

Cold day,Babyshambles and Concretes in the air. 

In time it all comes around , often obviously and occasionally out of the blue. The circular process is natural ,it is life in action. It's continuity, like breathing , allows memories and experiences to fall into place, rearranging reality as time edges forward around us .

Silk painting on Habotai 8 silk. With an acidity of 5.00-6.00 ph Onions work well with acid dyes on silk.

The potential problem is that the silk is weakened by the acids if left to long.

The red colour here is a raspberry and even the texture has been left on the silk. overall the silk stood for two carefully supervised days before organic material was removed.

A large silk painting 1.2 x 1.2 mtr on Habotai 8 silk using a mixture of Knaizeff and Dupont dyes along with black wax Gutta.

The picture depicts the village where it was painted being reclaimed by Nature once our species has gone. The picture was painted in the studio open to the street  and passing tourists in France.

Over the weeks it took to complete many people came in to watch and talk about the picture itself.

The title led to many in depth conversations about climate change and the realities of both our changing world environment and ways we choose to live.
