After much deliberation and ever changing rules on travel I made it to Durfort 81540 and opened the studio . The weather was as ever very warm and whilst the village was quieter than normal due to Covid the visitors who passed by were interested to drop in and chat about silk and the use of dyes.
This year I worked a lot with Gutta as a dye resist creating a number of abstract pieces. Whilst in the studio two people came along to get more involved and one of those was my youngest ever attendee whose keen concentration and six hours of hard work paid off, she was oh so pleased.
Here are pictures of just some of the work we all spent time creating .
